Eco-style bathroom

Once you choose to opt for natural materials and subtle shades in neutral gamut, you must be keen on eco style. One of the most appreciated techniques of trendy interior design is when inspiration is derived from nature.

Eco style bathroom tile design can be created in tree approaches:

    step 1: choosing tiles;

    step 2: purchase of furniture and accessories;

    step 3: several decor items in eco style to complement the interior.

Today we come with step 1 and step 2. These two steps help create the color and texture for the interior design. This article reveals some key rules on how to create eco style bathroom interior.

Step 1 – choosing tiles

Texture. This is the aspect to focus attention on. No luster and metallic surface. Lots of matte surfaces with the facile finish and some volume. If you feel comfortable with eco style dull surfaces and some satin luster slightly visual, then all variations are allowed. When the stretched ceiling is used in your bathroom, you are welcome to apply the same rules for the texture of the ceiling.

Eco style applied for bathroom tile interior provides for the opaque ceramic granite, imitation stone and wood with special treatment. Ceramic tiles is what you are involved further as the most demanded material to cover bathroom walls.

Pattern of tiles, borders and decor. Neglect the idea to use imitation marble, compound monograms and contrasting abstract figures. The modern eco style is created based on natural motif with its supple lines without ant pompousness typical to court classic style. the best patterns include: slight halftone (”washed”) geometry, imitation wood and shell limestone, wild rock, fine stripe, floral and herbal motifs. When you come with the idea that no motif is appropriate for your bathroom design, opt for the smooth surface (without patterns).

Color gamut. Soft tones of neutral color palette (tints of brown), light-yellow and warm green (close to yellow rather than to blue, otherwise you come to sea motifs to close. This is a good idea also though it has nothing to do with eco style).

Basic surface of walls. Neutral tones are applied. Best tones are light translucent (beige, ivory, sand-colored, creamy, bisque), though white or light-grey with warmer hues are possible to use.

Additional shades. Shades can follow the basic colors of the same neutral palette with more saturated or subdued style. Can be the complemented with green, ochre, caramel, coffee and nut hues.

Some ideas for dark-brown and red-brown tints: they should be used reasonably. You are supposed to have all the doors in the house done in wenge color. To avoid the impression of the door to bring discord, a couple of tints of the same color should be included in bathroom tile design. A unique vase in the niche or something like that can be the right thing, apart from tiles.

Step 2 – purchase of furniture and accessories

Now, when you know what your walls will look like, consider furniture and accessories to match.

Consider the step 1 rules in regards to texture and pattern: no luster and pretentiousness, eco style favors for uncluttered furniture and sanitary ware, mirrors and lamps. Eco style is good to go with country-style pieces of furniture and décor. Texture is opaque.
